One of my professional goals this year has been to become a keynote speaker at an art education conference. This is one way I can give back to a profession that is dear to my heart. 

I have been given the opportunity to present to a group of art educators at the upcoming Illinois Art Education Association Fall Conference. I will be presenting on how I have balanced a career as an art educator, artist and gallery director.  This will be my largest audience to date. I have heard 400+ educators in one space! 

I look forward to sharing the stage with Deborah Smith-Shank.
