Professional Practices for Artists Workshops

Since 2011, I have been curious about the business side of art. I have dedicated my professional life to learning as much as I can by putting myself in the center as an artist, educator, and gallery director.

We all know how important it is to balance our creative side with the business side, but at what point do you take that extra step to determine what you are doing strategically is bringing favorable results?

I have been facilitating a series of professional development workshops aimed to take your art career to the next level throughout North East and South East Wisconsin and have recently began to expand throughout the state. If you would like to learn more about these workshops or would like to be put on my list, simply fill out the form below.

“I have immense respect and admiration for Frank Juarez!… he does more to help and uplift artists in this area than anyone else I know. We are beyond fortunate to have him as an advocate and beyond in our community and state”. – Jean Detjen, Artful Living

“I attended two of Frank Juarez’s Business of Art workshops this past fall at The ART Garage. He brings a wide range of experience to this topic as an artist, art educator, gallery owner, and art advocate at the local, state and national level. He is extremely well connected, has his finger on the pulse of the art market, and offers his knowledge freely. There is no competition or ego when it comes to working with Frank. I received sound advice for my work and website during my critique and practical information, do’s and don’ts, about being a professional, selling, artist. I highly recommend Frank Juarez’s workshops. . . he’s someone you want to get to know”. – Karen Stewart, artist & educator

“Being a new artist to Sheboygan I was unfamiliar with pricing for the local market. Additionally, I wasn’t quite sure what logic to employ when pricing my work. Enter Frank Juarez with his background in the local art scene and voila! it became clear what the market would bear and how to properly construct a meaningful pricing strategy”.  – Tom Ferguson, photographer
