Carroll University turns 175 years this year. As a way to celebrate this milestone, CU recognized alumni that have made an impact in their careers since 1875. Frank Juarez, 1997, joins this list of notable alumni such as Lucius Newman, 1875, (founding publisher of the Milwaukee Journal), Vernon Thomson, 1927, (Wisconsin governor, 1957-59), Donald Goerke, 1949, (creator of Spaghetti O’s), Howard Fuller, 1962, (civil rights activist and education reform advocate), Saundra Johnston Tracy, 1968, (first woman president of Michigan’s Alma College), and Ricardo Diaz, 1974, (United Community Center’s Executive Director).
